I am getting married in Cambodia.Do i have to live in Cam for a time period before we go to the states?
Is the 130 form the best to file to get her into the USA? I work in Iraq so I am trying to figure when we get married if i have to stay there in cam for any amount of time. Also, once she is approved how much time does the Gov offer her to get to the USA before the paperwork expires?

Contact the Cambodian embassy and ask them, but if both of you are in a different country and you want to bring her home with you then you need to contact the American embassy there in Iraq and find out.

Who ships Laptops to Cambodia

Who ships Laptops to Cambodia?
Is there anywhere on this lousy planet a computer manufacturer / reseller who ships (customized) laptops / notebooks per UPS or DHL or whatever to Cambodia? I have my eye on a HP Pavilion DV7-2170US 17.3-Inch Entertainment Laptop... But where to buy? Not easy if you live in Cambodia!

You can actually customize your laptop at www.hp.com. Also, some other websites that carry that particular laptop are: www.newegg.com www.amazon.com http://www.buydig.com The international shipping varies on these sites. However, I would suggest that you set up a US address with a package forwarding company for your international shipping. I've used a company called Bongo International for a almost a year now- you set up a US postal address on their site, they receive your items from Old Navy and Best Buy, etc. and put it all in one box if needed.(This saves $ on shipping.) Then they ship it overseas to you. You can track on their website the whole way, great website technology. I like this option because then you never have to worry about shipping problems, you can buy online from anywhere and the rates are very fair. Here is the link for transit times etc. to Cambodia through Bongo: http://www.bongous.com/country-information/us-to-cambodia.php I really hope this helps! That is a very nice computer.

Can you give me information about people who live in slums in Cambodia

Can you give me information about people who live in slums in Cambodia..?
I have to do I Geography project about an LEDC, and I chose Cambodia since my aunt is Cambodian and I'd like to know more about her country. I have to write about how Cambodia can develop and about the developments that are already happening. I watched the last 15 minutes (or something) about Cambodia, and there were police attacking the people and the slums - I think because they want land. Can you give me information or a link about how the Cambodian government/local people can improve the living conditions and make it more of an MEDC? thanks :D

Does anyone know if it is still possible to live in Laos/Cambodia on 5-7USD/day?
I am wanting to do some travelling there, as cheap as I can do it, and I'm going there with 3,000 USD minimum...anyone want to tell me if that would be possible? also...I know it's a cliche, but how hard is it to find work teaching english or something in Cambodia or Laos (specifically, Vientiane or Phnom Penh)? thanks, and any advice you can offer is greatly appreciated

In Lao you can live well enough (including accommodation) on about 300 USD per month. Teaching jobs can pay about 10 USD per hour but this won't include stuff like health insurance which you should definitely get. So certainly teaching will help a great deal to extend your stay in either of those countries and also it's a great way to meet locals and give you a greater insight into their society and culture than if you were just an average tourist. To get work in either of those countries you really need to be there. Simply get the Yellow Pages (or the local equivalent) and go knocking on doors till you find work.
