Tell her your going to marry her and ask her for her blessing

This is a very difficult situation, and I empathize with you. I urge you to pray about it. Ask God to help you know what to do. I also encourage you to give it one or two weeks where you dont' see or talk to your girlfriend. If at the end of that time you still feel as strongly, then it might be time for a heart to heart. If you do talk with your mother, have a plan. How are you going to make sure that you and your girlfriend have a good life together? I am sure your mother is worried that a poor farm girl won't make a good wife. You must show your mother that your girlfriend is smart and capable and will do a good job as your wife. Also show your mother you have a plan for what you want to do with your lives together, so it doesn't appear that you are making a hasty decision. Best of luck to you.

It sounds like you love this girl very much, and as they say "love conquers all". I suppose that the only reason that your mother does not want you to marry this girl is because she is poor, and that is sad. I say, you should propose to your girlfriend, and when she says yes, get your parents aside and tell them the news. Tell them how much you love your girlfriend and that you will always love her. Also, let them know that you have and always will love them and you repect them very much, and appreciate all that they have done for you. But this does not change your feelings for your girlfriend, and that you hope that they will understand. Good luck to you and I wish you every happiness for the future.

It's very good of you to respect your mother, it shows you are a good son. However, she should not tell you who to marry, especially if the main issue is whether the woman you love has money or not. Maybe you should take your mom out to dinner and talk with her then, so she is not so pressured. When you talk to her, do it in a mature way and show her that you understand what you are doing. Hopefully she will change her mind. Good luck to you!

Tell your Mother because you respect her, you would like her blessing and that you realize she wants a happy life for you. Tell her this girl makes you happy and there is room in your life for her and your mother.Ask her to get to know this girl better.

Living and moving to Cambodia

Living and moving to Cambodia.?
My friend told me that when she was there everything was so cheap that you could live well of off $100 a month!! I am actually really interested in moving out of the US and looking for a place in the Asian continent. Best answer, will be chosen and awarded. All other rated based upon the answer. Thanks in advanced to everyone!

yes it is true it is very cheap there, but it depends on the type of person you are. its not as nice and industrialized as the US. there is like 1 or 2 big cities that you might be able to notice similarities with cities in the US. the rest is all farmy like. yeah you definitely can live off 100$ a month. back in the summer me and my brother visited my dad who lives there. and he would take us out to lunch everyday and the 3 of us came to about like 25000 riel which is like 5$! lol. so imagine it was you but you are going solo. pitchers of beer is like 2$ although i think its water down. you probably will need transportation and could get a motocycle for like 100$. i seen all the white foreigners riding around dirt bikes lol. they are all taller than the other bikes. entertainment and stuff. i dont know much really but they are up and coming and trying to be more westernized so there are spots you can go to. they have a tourist spot in the capital city which is very nice. dont know anything about finding a place out there though. well phnom pehn is up and coming now. a lot of investors especially from korea are building all this stuff and i saw they are in the process of building like a private community with a lot of houses and shopping centers and a few skyscrapers. it seemed like the who area was gated in. saw some of the prices for the houses were like 100k to 200k. this does not seem like it will be finished soon though. so theres my input lol. well i thought i might add that my input makes it sound cheap but there are stuff that is normal price. like they have some western fast foods there or well really all they have is KFC which is just about the same price as in the states, maybe just a little cheaper. they have other fast foods i never heard of there and pizza places that around the same price here. they do a lot of bargaining too but obviously you dont bargain at kfc or a restaurant.

I'm not sure about the Cambodian laws. I know that you can visit Cambodia no problem, but you just can't live in a Southeast Asian country without having an appropriate visa. Probably the biggest thing you have to consider is this: Once you get there, what will you do to earn money? The only job that you might be qualified for is an English teacher, and that doesn't pay very well. I have personally met guys that moved to Thailand to teach English. Sure, they have a great time partying and meeting women and such. The problem is, they don't save any money, they make just barely enough to live on, and when they eventually move back to their home country, they literally have to start from scratch (some of them are well into their 30's when they do this). My advice? Save up all the money you can, and spend a couple of months travelling through SE Asia. Forget about living there for now, it's a dream that many of us have (I still have it), but the reality is a lot different. You will NOT be able to live on just $100 a month. If you want to have any kind of fun, your looking at spending at least $300+, and that's a conservative estimate.

I'd chose malaysia... because malaysia is truly asia. i would not go to cambodia, laos, thailand..crime rate is way too high. that area is also known as the golden triangle for a high crime rate. unlike you ... whatever your name is. i do not like taking chances with my life. going to the golden triangle area is like going to somalia or any other islamic country with high chances of crime rate. as far as your reading goes, i can say you're pretty much blind in reading complete sentences, i didn't tell the asker not to go there, i said I WOULD NOT GO THERE. ever heard of personal opinion... get a better education....

Lilmiss doesn't know what she talking about, until she lives here don't judge the place. Philippines will most likely be the place but most of these countries it's very hard and costly to get citizenship, especially Thailand. Maybe you don't know but there is no more Burma it's Myanmar and not easy to even travel in with many restrictions.
3 :
I'm wondering how you propose to become a citizen. It's very hard to impossible to do this. Becoming a permanent resident with restrictions: that's another story. Thailand's pleasant, but it'll cost you about $20,000 for a retirement visa, and you have to be age 55 minimum.

I NEVER WANT TO BE THAILAND / MALAYSIA / BRUNEI I NEVER WANT TO BOWING MY HEAD AR KNEELING TO KING / SULTAN /EMPEROR, WITH THE ABSOLUTE AND ARROGAT POWER
5 :
Absolutly Thailand because I'm Thai. I'm familiar with Thai culture & traditional. However, I want thai people learn about how to live under the political & rules as Singapore. It will be complete. ^^o
6 :
I'm Thai people. In addition to Thailand if the country must be selected in Southeast Asia. I chose Singapore.I don't know much about this country. But I chose because I think Singapore is a great country, Singapore has achieved much in its 45 years that other countries who have been around for a few hundred years are still unable to reach. It is very safe and clean. : ) That is the answer to that question must be selected countries in Southeast Asia. But now I'm more interested in a Scandinavian country. May I speak to Sweden. The Kingdom of Sweden is a Scandinavian country.Sweden has borders with Norway to the west and Finland to the northeast. Moreover,in the south, the Oresund Bridge* links Sweden to Denmark. The capital is Stockhome,Which is in the eastern part and the largest city of country. The official language is Swedish. This country has a small population compared to that of Thailand, approximately 9,300,000 (as of 2009). The Nordic Countries The Scandinavian countries are also know as "the Nordic Countries,"which inclund Sweden,Denmark and the other countries.Within the group, there is a regional political organization called the Nordic Council, which was set up in 1952.One of its successes is a policy permitting citizens of the member states to cross the borders of the countries within the group freely without the need for passport. The Oresund Bridge* I'm going to conclude the interesting stories by talking about the bridge linking the two Scandinavian countries. The bridge was named after the Oresund strait. It is 16.4 kilometers in length and consists of a 4-lane road and a 2-track railway. It connects Copenhagen,Denmark with Malmo,Sweden. This bridge was officially opened in 2000.It is the longest combined road and rail bridge in Europe. Also, the bridge is an attractive option for those who want to cross the borders quickly without having to fly. http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn265/banpong1/Misselaneous/Oresund-Bridge-between-Denmark-and-Sweden2.jpg http://%2A%2A%2A.studentsoftheworld.info/infopays/photos/DNK/Denmark_Oresund_Bridge2.jpg **GÃ¥va : ) http://www.brusselsjournal.com/files/scandinavian-models.jpg scandinavian-models http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3030/3019500724_ee6accf739.jpg P.S. Sorry about my poor english grammar. I'm trying to develop my English : )
7 :
Of the ones I've seen: Brunei is rather Muslim and it's hard (impossible?) to get a visa. Burma, Laos, and Cambodia are beautiful but poor. Singapore is 'spensive. Malaysia is very western-friendly.
8 :
Philippines..People there speak english . It can be cheap to live there if money is an issue. Girls are pretty and most of all you can become a citizen .

How do I setup a simple ecommerce charity

How do I setup a simple ecommerce charity?
I'm trying to create a charity that helps children who were forced into prostitution in countries like Cambodia, live a better and more productive life. Many of these children were found living in wooden cages like animals and only let in order to have sex with their Western clients, and not surprisingly quite a large number have been infected with the HIV virus or have developed psychological problems that will affect them for the rest of their lives. Setting up this charity is going to take time as I have learn about the regulations pertaining to registering a business as a charity. Nothing is simple in our bureaucractic country. Although my goal is to lean on the generosity of small to medium businesses to raise finances, I'm hoping that I will also be able to setup a website where the general public will be able to make contributions via the internet. The payment should be made by credit card and and the amount is purely up to them. Where do I begin? I want to keep the costs of the website down to a minimum and have decided to use a very attractive template, which I found on the internet, that I can modify and update myself. So the actual design won't be a problem, I'm just not about the ecommerce element?? Any help would be much appreciated. My goal is to keep things as simple as possible.

Just do a web search for ecommerce language, where language is the language you want it in. Php is probably most common, and you'd need some knowledge of Javascript for the client-side code. (ecommerce php returns over half a million hits, so you should find something.) I'd suggest PayPal to start (there are scripts for it), since a merchant account (taking credit cards directly) will cost you. If you need help with the coding, there are probably some high school students out there who need community service credit, so you should be able to find help. And, if you're in the US, don't forget to register as a 501(c)(3).
