I need info on Cambodia

I need info on Cambodia?
I have a few questions about Cambodia. Please answer and post a cite name. How is knowledge passed from one generation to the next in Cambodia? How is the quality of life in Cambodia? What groups have high/low status? Taboos- What behavior is totally unacceptable? Do most people live in city or the countryside? What do people do for fun? What are the sports? In Cambodia, how do people take care of cooking, shopping, washing clothes, etc. What does the typical family eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner? What food is Cambodia known for?

Hi, I have been in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia for more than half a year. Cambodia have their own schools and uni nowadays, as well as foreign institutes. You can find shopping malls and supermarkets popping up all over the places with the increase in influx of foreigners and foreign investments. There is even a casino in town, as well as numerous others in the rest of teh boder towns. Most of the people living in town are more or less reasonably well off. Of couse there are those of very high income and those who are earning USD 50-100 per mth. The range difference is actually quite big. The staple food of Cambodians is rice, of which their country produce in abundance, and peppercorn, which are exported to the rest of teh world. Cambodia is a big country, and there are various towns and cities all over the country. As the country only has a small stretch facing the sea, seafood is not that common on teh menu. Most of the locals of cousre depends on the river for their fish & clams & prawns. Clams are actually a common sight in markets, and sold commonly along the streets as well. There are actually a few exotic delicacies like deep fried insects, spiders, snakes, sparrows that are sold openly on the streets by the weight. And one of Cambodians' favourite are the steamed duck eggs, which contain unborn partially formed ducklings within the shells. Other than that, the local Cambodian restaurants often have bbq meats of all types. Hopes this helps if you are planning to visit Cambodia. I've also been to Siem Reap to visit the ancient Ang Kor Wat temples located at the northern part of the country and also Sihanuokville and KEP National Park, down the southern tip of Cambodia. Do your research before coming. I find the lonely planet travel guide book for Cambodia quite useful before coming over. Good luck
