after 8 months us embassy in cambodia agrees my wifes papers are in order. but now in november they sent a investigator out to verify she is not living with ex husband/ she and her ex husband both live just 10 min from us embassy in phnom penh / her ex husband tremarried 4 years ago new wife and children. isnt 3 1/2 months long enough to verify my wife isnt living with ex husband???

I don't understand why it would matter if she was living with ex husband?

You wouldn't worry. Khmer woman is usually honest. If she already divorced, no way she'll live with her exhusband. It's prohibited by the traddition. But, if she still live with her ex-husband, her real interest is come to the US.
